Hi, I work with adult patients with mood and anxiety disorders. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, medication management and treatment patients with addiction. My goal is to combine supportive and CBT based psychotherapy interventions with medications to optimize treatment results. Most patients find that I am easy to talk to and non-judgmental. I have 20+ years of experience but I am always looking to integrate new ideas and treatment strategies into my practice to help my patients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be a chance for you to express what your treatment goals are. You will have an opportunity to describe what you are looking for in terms of treatment and give me an overview of where you are in your life that brought you to make the appointment. I will follow up with some questions about your current symptoms, past treatment history and medical history. We will finish up by making an initial plan for your treatment going forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths are that I am a compassionate and open minded listener, I want my patients to do well and care for their overall well-being.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I can best help clients who are looking to work on mood, anxiety and addiction disorders through a combination of psychotherapy and medication treatment. However I do not push use of medications if a patient prefers not to use them. Please note that I am not prescribing benzodiazepines (eg Klonopin, Xanax, Ativan) or stimulants (Vyvanse, Adderall, Ritalin, concerta) at this time through growtherapy. I would be happy to talk about alternatives.
