Welcome! My name is Nehemiah Campbell and for the last 10+ years I have been providing individual, family and group therapy services as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I appreciate you taking a moment to learn about my abilities and practice. If you are seeking services for the first time, I congratulate you on taking the initial steps. For others, you are to be commended to continuing your desire for healing and creating the life you have envisioned for yourself. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to working with you on your transformative journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session, you will have the opportunity to talk openly about whatever is on your mind. We can revisit impactful areas of your life that still carry a sting, or we can dive into current events and identify stressors and barriers that are preventing you from living the life you envision. We will take a collaborative approach and identify goals and treatment to move towards a healthier mindset.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

A strength that clients are often impressed by is my ability to meet them where they are. Clients usually initiate services because they recognize that something is not quite right. Putting that emotion into words can be difficult to articulate. Our collaborative approach will teach you to find your voice, understand the emotions behind the words and seek ways to push forward and process those feelings.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a CBT trained therapist I teach my clients about the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how it can affect them. Through awareness and insight of this dynamic changes can be made to produce more positive outcomes. It is effective for a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, phobias, and stress.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am Certified in DBT and intergrate the four modules of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness into my practice.
