What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I provide individual/Family counseling services for children, adolescents and adults who experience symptoms related to Trauma/PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Behavioral issues that disrupt their positive daily living. I also help you manage your anger problems and find lasting solutions to them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Thoughts Influence Emotions and Behaviors: Cognitive therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts significantly influence our emotions and behaviors. By changing maladaptive or distorted thinking patterns, we can improve emotional responses and behaviors. Cognitive Distortions: People often engage in cognitive distortions, such as overgeneralization, catastrophizing, or black-and-white thinking. Cognitive therapy helps identify and challenge these distortions. Collaborative Approach: The therapist and client work together to identify problematic thoughts, test their validity, and develop healthier ways of thinking. Homework Assignments: Clients are often given tasks or exercises to complete between sessions. These might include keeping thought records, practicing new behaviors, or experimenting with alternative thoughts.
