I am a therapist with more than a decade of experience in therapy, mental health, addiction, and social work. As a validating and compassionate therapist, I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, addressing trauma, and focusing on women's issues. My approach is to create a safe and understanding space where you can explore your challenges and work towards healing and personal growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we begin to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll start by discussing your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I will listen attentively and ask questions to understand your unique experiences and challenges. Together, we’ll explore the best ways to approach your goals and develop a plan for our work together. My aim is to ensure you feel heard, validated, and supported from the very beginning of our journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strengths as a provider lie in my compassion, validation, and deep understanding of diverse experiences. My ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space allows clients to explore their challenges openly and honestly. With over a decade of experience in mental health, addiction, and social work, combined with my specialization in neurodivergence, trauma, and women's issues, I offer a well-rounded and empathetic approach to therapy. I can address sensitive topics with respect and openness, empowering clients to achieve meaningful personal growth and healing.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have extensive training in ACT and have used this modality in conjunction with others. Through ACT, we work together to embrace your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them. I guide you in developing psychological flexibility, enabling you to live a life aligned with your values despite the obstacles you face. By focusing on mindfulness, acceptance, and commitment to meaningful actions, our sessions will help you break free from the constraints of negative patterns and foster a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Trauma-Focused CBT

This is a treatment modality I have used when appropriate for the duration of my career in mental health. In our sessions, we will work together to identify and challenge the negative thought patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back. Through practical techniques and structured exercises, CBT helps you develop healthier thinking habits and coping strategies. My goal is to empower you to understand and transform the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, so you can experience lasting positive changes and lead a more balanced and satisfying life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) supports individuals facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, and trauma. DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices to help you build emotional resilience and interpersonal effectiveness. Together, we will work on developing skills in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and mindfulness to manage your challenges more effectively. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can learn to balance acceptance and change, empowering you to create a life worth living.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a powerful approach that recognizes the different parts within you, each with its own perspectives and feelings. By working with these parts, we can address the root causes of your struggles and promote healing and harmony within yourself. My aim is to guide you in understanding and integrating these parts, fostering self-compassion and inner balance, so you can experience lasting change and live a more fulfilling life.

Schema Therapy

In my practice, I utilize Schema Therapy to support you in overcoming depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, and trauma. Schema Therapy focuses on identifying and addressing deeply rooted patterns, or "schemas," that may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we will explore these schemas and work to transform them, helping you break free from negative cycles and develop healthier, more adaptive ways of coping. My goal is to create a compassionate and understanding environment where you can heal and grow, ultimately leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.
