Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is helping you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, at a pace that feels right for you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. I see you as the expert on your own life, while I offer guidance, perspective, and tools to support your growth. My approach is compassionate and validating, while also gently challenging when needed. Together, we’ll begin to identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical strategies that help you create meaningful, lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you, there’s no one-size-fits-all in therapy. I take time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals so our work together feels meaningful and relevant. Clients often appreciate my ability to listen deeply, build trust, and create a space where they feel comfortable being open and honest. I balance empathy with gentle challenge, helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck while supporting you in making lasting changes. Together, we’ll build insight and develop practical tools you can use in your daily life, whether that’s improving communication, setting boundaries, or managing emotions more effectively.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with individuals and couples who are open to growth, even when the process feels uncomfortable at times. Many of my clients are looking to better understand themselves, explore new perspectives, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Therapy is a collaborative process, so it’s especially helpful if you’re willing to be honest, curious, and engaged both in and outside of sessions. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to show up and take small steps forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients recognize how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and shift patterns that may be keeping them stuck. We focus on practical tools you can use in everyday life to manage anxiety, improve mood, and handle challenges more effectively.

Interpersonal

I help clients recognize patterns in their relationships and communication that may be causing stress or disconnection. Together, we build healthier ways of relating so you can feel more confident, supported, and connected.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I help clients focus on their strengths and what’s already working, while setting clear, achievable goals. This approach is practical and forward-focused, helping you move toward meaningful change step by step.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I help clients become more present and aware of their thoughts and emotions without judgment. This can reduce stress and help you feel more grounded, calm, and in control of how you respond to challenges.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I create a supportive space where you feel heard and understood. This helps you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, build self-acceptance, and make meaningful progress toward your goals.
