Hello Wellness Seeker! I am a millennial telehealth licensed mental health therapist striving to help women understand the meaning of prioritizing oneself and obtaining balanced wellness. I support and guide clients toward the journey of breaking through self-limiting thoughts and behaviors. I strive to empower those to always know who they are, where they are going, and how they are going to get there.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a focused discussion where we’ll explore the specific challenges you are facing. We’ll talk about your background, what led you to seek therapy, and begin identifying the key areas where you’d like support. I create a safe, empowering, and culturally sensitive space where clients can explore their experiences and concerns for starting therapy. By the end of the session, we will establish a plan for moving forward, and you will leave with a sense of direction and an understanding of how we can work together to achieve your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my ability to support women in rebuilding their lives and breaking through the barriers that hold them back. I am committed to helping clients prioritize self-care, establish healthy boundaries, and recognize the importance of putting themselves first. I focus on challenging self-defeating thoughts that undermine self-esteem and motivation, while guiding clients toward healthier coping mechanisms to navigate life’s stressors. My approach fosters empowerment, self-awareness, and lasting transformation, helping women cultivate resilience and regain confidence in their journey toward personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and restructure negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and achieve their treatment goals. My approach involves psychoeducation, identifying cognitive distortions, and using behavioral interventions such as exposure therapy, behavioral activation, and activity scheduling. I emphasize skill-building, like mindfulness and problem-solving, and assign individualized homework to reinforce progress. I’ve successfully applied CBT to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress, valuing its structured, evidence-based framework and its ability to empower clients in their healing journey.

Humanistic

I integrate Humanistic Therapy into my practice to foster a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, values, and sense of self. I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance through active listening, unconditional positive regard, and empathy. Using a client-centered approach, I help individuals tap into their inner strengths and identify solutions that align with their personal values. This method has been effective in addressing issues such as self-esteem, personal growth, relationship challenges, and emotional distress, enabling clients to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness and fulfillment.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy into my practice to help clients develop present-moment awareness and cultivate a nonjudgmental, compassionate relationship with their thoughts and emotions. By teaching mindfulness techniques such as breathing exercises, body scans, and mindful awareness, I guide clients in managing stress, reducing anxiety, and enhancing emotional regulation. This approach fosters self-acceptance and resilience, enabling clients to break free from reactive patterns and increase their ability to stay grounded in the present.

Psychodynamic

I utilize Psychodynamic Therapy to help clients gain insight into how unconscious thoughts, past experiences, and early relationships shape their current behaviors and emotional patterns. Through techniques like free association, exploring defense mechanisms, and examining transference, I work with clients to uncover unresolved conflicts and promote self-awareness.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. By integrating these core components, I guide clients in managing intense emotions, reducing impulsive behaviors, and improving relationships.
