What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is an information gathering session. We discuss in detail your reasons for seeking therapy. This includes people, situations and circumstances that have influenced your current position. The Therapist, individual and/or family member will develop a treatment plan, reflecting measurable and obtainable goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked as an intensive in-home, ABA, mental health skill building and outpatient therapist. This has put me in a position to help the client create the appropriate structure/routine to promote results. I am experienced in guiding individuals in identifying negative thinking patterns and redirecting the person to identify positive outcomes to encourage positive self talk.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My passion is working with individuals who have difficulties with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, autism, family relational problems and behavioral and mood dysregulation disorders. I treat the individual by using a combination approach. This includes family systems, client-centered services, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help my clients see how their thoughts and behaviors can lead to patterns causing anxiety symptoms. Once negative patterns have been identified, I will encourage my client to use positive and accurate statements along with coping skills to promote and produce positive changes.
