Subsequently earning a second master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in practice with Hispanic children and families from Our Lady of the Lake University which facilitated working with unaccompanied minors from Central America (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc.) with specialized experience in complex trauma, complex PTSD, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, pregnancy, sex, and labor trafficking along with maladaptive behaviors (substance use, suicide ideations, self-harm, body dysphoria, and eating disorders) for the past 6 years. I have clinical experience working within the individual, group, and family structures, adults, veterans, couples and children ages 0-17.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will give us time to get to know each other. You’ll need some privacy, as I'll be asking you some questions to build rapport and a safe-trusting relationship to help foster your inter-strengths, nurture your resilience, and explore healthy ways to identify, process, and manage your daily life stressors for emotional and mental health wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience working with complex trauma, complex PTSD, veterans, and clients experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, and being overwhelmed - you are not alone. One of my greatest strength is to be able to listen to other to not only hear but to better understand without judgement, shame, nor labeling.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I seek to help any and all age clients explore, and identify areas of change or improvement to help develop coping skills and support networks within the family structure.
