Hello and welcome. My name is Anne Mallett. I am the founder and provider of the outpatient therapy practice Grit & Grace Inspired. If you’ve been hit so hard by life that it’s knocked you off your feet and dropped you down to your knees, yet you’re determined to find a way to rise back up and persevere- it would be an honor to meet and work with you. I take an honest approach and meet you where you’re at on this tough road called life. I hope that together we can develop a plan of recovery and restoration for your peace of mind by implementing strategies to help you take steps toward standing back up, living solid in your truth, developing growth from your experience, and walking the path of empowerment.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In the first session, I will be addressing the parameters of outpatient therapy services, reviewing HIPPA guidelines as well as mandates of disclosure, answer any questions, complete a diagnostic assessment, formulate a clinical treatment plan, and schedule for follow up care. In follow up sessions together, we will be navigating through the emotional and psychological pain points you've experienced in life to determine the best course of action for healing and recovery.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
My practice leads with trauma-informed care. Evidence based therapeutic modalities are implemented that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) interventions. Each session is tailored for you and your unique needs.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I frequently receive referrals from other practitioners when they’ve hit a roadblock and are seeking a higher level of care for their clients. I am tenacious in seeking to discover the root cause of the concern, guide you toward insight and healing, and develop a healthy plan of empowering strategies to rise above the emotional and psychological pain that’s been endured. With over 20 years of professional experience serving those most in need and suffering, I have cultivated a practice where safety, support, and recovery are at the forefront of treatment.
