About me

I am a therapist with 13 years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Over the years, I’ve supported clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, imposter syndrome, and self-esteem concerns. I have worked with various populations to encourage and bring awareness to the need to eliminate mental illness stigma, particularly within communities of color. Her work in mental health has landed her in various settings including correctional facilities, outpatient behavioral health facilities and ‘in home’ psychiatric services.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate. I meet you where you are, taking the time to understand your unique experiences and goals. Together, we’ll explore the changes you’d like to see in your life, whether that means navigating a relationship transition with greater understanding and grace, building a stronger sense of self, or developing tools to better manage life’s ups and downs. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to work toward the growth and healing you deserve. Let’s take the first step together. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? We will discuss the reasons why you've come to therapy in the first place. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable; we will take therapy at your own pace. After a picture is painted of what your life has been like for you, we will shift our focus to what it is that you want your life to look like. Setting boundaries? Working through past traumas? Want to build your self-esteem? Heal relationships with others? Improve communication? We can work on setting and working toward goals together.
