Anxiety can feel constant and confusing, especially when trying to navigate challenging relationship dynamics, common life transitions, or simply trying to figure this life thing out. I offer a safe, supportive space to untangle that frustrating sense of feeling stuck, build confidence in being yourself, and navigate life's ups and downs. I partner with clients to walk through the exhaustion of daily stress, self-doubt, and overwhelming worries, helping them build deeper self-understanding and navigate a path forward. Many of the individuals I work with are highly self-aware, yet still find themselves dealing with common struggles like people-pleasing, codependency, and difficulty setting boundaries. My clients often come into therapy expressing things like: -"I have so much anxiety all the time and don't know why." (Exploring generalized anxiety, overwhelm, and the patterns underneath it.) -"I'm just trying to figure this life thing out." (Navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and feeling stuck.) -"I'm stressed by my relationships and don't know where I'm heading." (Working through relationship difficulties, dating anxiety, and codependent patterns.) -"I feel trapped by high expectations." (Exploring perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout.) If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and relational approaches, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals. I deeply believe therapy can be the bridge to deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, and meaningful lasting change. I am here to create a safe, supportive space for you to find growth and healing. I will meet you where you are at, remain open and curious about your experiences, and partner with you to identify and work towards your goals. I believe in the healing power of showing up authentically, creating a trusting relationship with you, and even sharing some laughs along the way.
Our first session is simply a chance for us to take a breath, get to know one another, and start building a comfortable rhythm. There is no pressure to have everything perfectly articulated or figured out. We will look at what feels most overwhelming right now, talk about what you hope to get out of this space, and figure out the next steps together at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
I feel my greatest strength as a clinician is helping you feel safe being your authentic self - the good, the bad, and everything in between - so that we can do the hard work together without fear of judgement or rejection. Having spent years helping individuals navigate some of life's lowest, most chaotic moments, I am not easily overwhelmed by heavy things. That background has taught me how incredibly resilient people are—even when they feel completely stuck—and it keeps me deeply committed to meeting you exactly where you are without any unrealistic expectations.
I work best with thoughtful adults who are looking for more than a passive sounding board and are ready to explore what is keeping them stuck—even if they aren't entirely sure how to fix it yet. Many of my clients have tried therapy before, but felt like they just talked for an hour without anything shifting. My approach is collaborative, direct, and solution-oriented. I partner with individuals who want a therapist who will actively engage with them, offer gentle but honest feedback, and challenge them lovingly to break through the daily stress, anxiety, and old cycles that are holding them back.
Eclectic therapy allow us to draw tools from many different therapeutic approaches to meet and adapt to clients' specific needs. This may span CBT, Mindfulness-Based approaches, Person-Centered care, Trauma-Informed care, Applied Polyvagal Theory, DBT, and ACT.
CBT is used to help gain awareness of and change the unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior that contribute to suffering.
Mindfulness-based therapy is based in practices of meditation, non-judgemental awareness, breathwork, and engaging the observer-self to help create feelings of centeredness from which clients can better understand their own experiences, and ultimately choose how to interpret and respond to those understandings.
Trauma-informed care is based on approaching client needs following the principles of safety, trustworthiness and transparency, peer support, collaboration and mutuality, empowerment and choice, and humility. Trauma-informed care recognizes the wide-ranging impacts that trauma can have on individuals, and focusing on healing with this in mind.

Sarah is such a kind and warm soul. I never thought I would get so much out of therapy. She actually cares about me, in a time where I really need that. She's wonderful.

She was easy to talk with; I look forward to our next meeting as she seems like an amazing and wonderful person who truly cares about the individual she's helping. "One day at a time."
