Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master's degree from Florida State University. and have been practicing for twenty years. I help diverse populations—from young adults struggling with anxiety, veterans in primary care settings or patients facing chronic illness, navigate life’s challenges, build emotional resilience, and develop coping strategies to regain a sense of control and well-being.
The first session is about understanding, not fixing because growth happens over time. There is no pressure to share everything at once. This is an opportunity for you to share your story, express concerns, and begin building a trusting relationship with me. I will explain my approach, confidentiality, and what therapy looks like in general. You are encouraged to ask any questions about the process. Therapy will be space for you to explore thoughts and emotions without judgment.
I have the ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I excel at helping people navigate overwhelming emotions, major life transitions, and self-doubt by offering a structured yet compassionate approach to healing. Above all, my strength lies in meeting people where they are—helping them break free from negative patterns, build self-confidence, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges while fostering self-compassion and resilience.
I enjoy working with both young and middle-aged adult adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders, particularly those who feel stuck in cycles of self-doubt, sadness, or low motivation and want tools to regain a sense of purpose; are going through major life transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, relocation, or loss and need support in adapting, or who are struggling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries, leading to stress and burnout.
My therapy style is centered on warmth, empathy, and inclusivity. Drawing from my extensive experience working with diverse populations—from veterans in primary care settings to patients facing chronic illness—I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where every individual feels heard, valued, and understood. I believe in a collaborative, patient-centered approach that not only addresses immediate mental health needs but also empowers clients to build resilience and tap into their own strengths. Whether through evidence-based interventions like Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Management, or Acceptance and Commitment interventions, I tailor my methods to each person's circumstances, ensuring that the care I provide is as inclusive as it is effective.
