Hello, my name is Cherelle Washington and I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 3 years. I am a school social worker by day and therapist part time. I enjoy working with both youth and adults. I love providing solutions and coping strategies to effectively help my clients manage the unpredictable stressors of life. My goal is to empower the individuals I work with and provide them with the tools they need to thrive across settings.
Clients can expect their first session with me to be a very interactive one. Clients will get the chance to get to know me and I hope to learn about the client as well. We will create goals together and prepare ourselves for future sessions.
My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to build significant relationships with my clients. I truly care about my clients and I want them to reach their goals. I believe they are aware of that when they meet me for sessions.
I serve both youth (ages 13 and up) and adults where I focus on life transitions, anxiety, depression, career challenges, and stress management.
I utilize CBT to assist my clients with reframing negative thoughts. I also provide coping strategies that can assist with anxiety, depression, and other life stressors.

Cherelle has been essential in helping me work toward life tools that stick. We've worked on setting/keeping boundaries, setting/achieving goals and realizing my self-worth again! I could go on and on, but I truly couldn't have had this growth without her. She is open-minded, encouraging, real, and welcoming. She's someone you want in your corner!
