Hi! My name is Michelle and I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and founder of Mosaic Brain Health. At Mosaic Brain Health we strive to destigmatize mental health and emphasize brain health. We provide a comprehensive set of services to help boost your confidence and offer support as you navigate your personal brain health and wellness challenges. I personally work with clients closely in order to achieve measurable results that allow them to push forward with a new, positive mindset. I empower people struggling with life transitions, relationships, anxiety, focus, and organization. I am trained throughout the lifespan and have worked extensively with teens, young adults, and those in middle adulthood. Human life endures several transitions and multiple stressors along life’s journey. As we make our journey, we acquire more luggage. Sometimes it helps to unpack this luggage and reorganize it. You’re already walking down the path of wellness. You’re here, reading this, which means you have intentionally taken the necessary steps toward prioritizing your health of both mind and body.
I provide a compassionate evaluation without labels. Initially, you will receive one hour dedicated solely to your discovery. We will work together to hash out what's beneath the surface. During the first session, we will devise a plan. We will discuss medication, if appropriate. We will determine the frequency of sessions. In therapy, clients start either weekly or biweekly with the ultimate goal of fewer needed sessions. My goal is that you take away a calmer sense of being, feel lighter, and more energized, and have overall improved outcomes.
I offer medication management as well as therapy. My therapy sessions are a combination of motivational and cognitive therapy. During sessions, I encourage you to identify and cope with your specific challenges. This approach may involve journaling, utilization of supportive apps, dream/ nightmare analysis during sessions, and confronting uncomfortable feelings and thoughts while replacing them with positive feelings and thoughts. You will be encouraged to set boundaries with offending individuals, relationships, and workplaces. Therapy is not always comfortable but with a willingness to participate and the right guidance it can produce lifetime results.
I work with the individual, not the diagnosis. I meet you where you are. What does that mean? It means I listen to what your experiences have been in the past and where you are now, and then decide the best course of action moving forward. My reviews describe my approach as "down to Earth", "compassionate", "willing to listen", "really cares", "spent extra time", and "really works with the client".
I have worked extensively with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship issues.
