If you can change the way you think you can change the way you feel. I want to assist you in feeling better again by talking through a difficult time in your life. I would like to assist in your becoming present and in the moment as we work toward creating the changes you want to see. Most of my clients see results within a few weeks. I’ve been trained in various types of therapy so I use different approaches to assist you in improving your life. I hope that by allowing me to join in your journey, we can meet your vision of a new and improved you or relationship.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
The initial session is an opportunity to meet with you, understand your world, and what brings you in. In the first session, our goal is to identify your vision of what you would like to achieve and develop a plan to achieve that goal.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I believe that people are not a "one size fits all" so I apply the skill or tool that I feel will work best based on the individual client. I am skilled and certified in several different approaches which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Gottman Method of Couples Therapy Level 2 Certified.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I feel my biggest strength is in building a therapeutic relationship. I love getting to know and help people. It's the reason I chose this profession. I believe that through being transparent and my authentic self with a person we can start to build a strong therapeutic alliance.
