My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience using CBT to redirect, retrain, guide, the mind has been successful when my client attends sessions, participates in sessions and practices skills at home. The initial goal is to teach my client brain facts; the more we know the better we can manage. The next goals are to learn how to identify thoughts, change thoughts to positive and tailor skills that target my client's issues. In CBT I also use a client centered approach to allow the client to process built up inner words and or emotions.

Christian Counseling

My experience in Christian Counseling has been successful when the client is in agreement with Christian counseling, short powerful humble prayer for my client during session and of course homework assignments in the form of memorizing scripture. Prayer and Bible scripture are powerful sources for overcoming issues in Christian Counseling.
