I’m a therapist specializing in anxiety and the many issues that often lead to or overlap with it, such as ADHD, life transitions, work and school pressures, and relationship challenges. My approach is rooted in understanding you as a whole person and working collaboratively to untangle the unique blend of factors impacting your mental health. One of my priorities is to provide an accurate assessment to ensure you’re receiving the right kind of support. Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and depression can share similar symptoms. By thoroughly assessing your experiences, I can identify the most accurate diagnosis, which lays the groundwork for effective treatment. In our work together, I use evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you understand and reshape the thought patterns that contribute to anxiety. We’ll look at how your thoughts influence your emotions and behaviors and develop practical tools to manage anxiety’s impact on your life. My goal is to help you build resilience and coping skills that empower you to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and balance. I provide a safe and supportive space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we can clarify your goals, build self-awareness, and create a personalized path forward.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session is a time where I get to know you. You will have time and space to share with me where you are right now and where you want to be. We will explore your history and discuss assessments that could be helpful. This session is about me getting a good understanding about what your goals are for therapy and how we can set a plan to approach them together. We will discuss what has worked for you in the past and what has not. You are the expert on you! We will discuss confidentiality, session time, and I will answer any questions you might have.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my greatest strength is my your ability to offer a comprehensive, compassionate approach to complex mental health challenges. I help clients identify and manage symptoms but also dig deeper to uncover core conflict. I have personally struggles with anxiety, been through therapy, and had additional training.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin, I’m here to guide you. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and I’m committed to helping you rediscover a sense of calm, direction, and well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In treating clients with anxiety using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I focus on helping clients identify and understand the thought patterns that contribute to their anxiety. Together, we examine these thoughts to see if they’re helpful or based on unhelpful assumptions, then work to replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. Additionally, we practice coping skills, such as relaxation techniques and gradual exposure to anxiety-provoking situations, to build confidence and resilience. Through CBT, clients learn practical tools to reduce anxiety’s intensity and frequency, leading to a more manageable and fulfilling daily life.
