I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my master’s degrees from The Catholic University of America and Liberty University respectively. I have been practicing as a healthcare provider for over 5 years. As a mental health nurse practitioner, I help people struggling with mental health conditions including but not limited to depression, anxiety, eating disorder, and bipolar by being there for them at their time of need.
During our first session together, we will start with a brief introduction, then we will discuss informed consent for treatment and counseling and/or coordination of care. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to give a history of the issues that you are facing to help me create a treatment plan that will be successful in managing your care in collaboration with you.
With over 4 years of experience as a healthcare provider, I have developed proven skills on how to identify a client’s concern as well as manage their conditions.
I believe in caring for both the physical and emotional well-being of my clients. Every client encounter is an opportunity to help my clients alter their lives through promoting better health practices, by providing a safe and compassionate approach to clarity, wellness, and overall health and well-being.
As a provider, I strive to identify and understand my clients’ interpersonal issues and how they contribute to their mental health concerns. And build a strong and trusting relationship with my clients by creating a safe space where my clients can feel heard and be able to explore their mental health concerns.
I am compassionate and provide comfort and reassurance for my clients, especially during the difficult times of their mental health concerns. I tailor my approach to my client’s individual needs by building a therapeutic relationship that is based on trust and collaboration.
I aim to explore the unconscious mind of my clients to understand how past experiences, especially those from childhood, influence their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By helping them freely express their thoughts and feelings without censorship, so as to create a therapeutic relationship that is based on trust and open communication.
The recent pandemic shed a great light on the interconnectedness of mental and physical health. As a holistic healthcare provider my clinical approach stresses on the influence of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors on my client’s physical well-being, and vice versa.
