LCSW, 8 years of experience
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it can also be a powerful tool for growth and healing. I’m a bilingual Licensed Therapist (Spanish/English) with over eight years of experience in mental health and more than 15 years of experience working with individuals and families. I specialize in supporting children and adults who are navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life changes. I take an empathetic, collaborative approach to therapy, meeting you where you are and helping you move toward the life you want to live. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain new insights, and develop practical tools to manage stress, improve relationships, and strengthen self-esteem. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in private practice and nonprofit settings, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, I’m here to help you find clarity and build confidence in your next steps.
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve, so we can create a plan that fits your needs and goals.
Clients often describe me as warm, patient, and understanding. My years of experience working with both children and adults help me quickly identify the root of your challenges and guide you toward meaningful progress.
I work best with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, or major life changes. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck or unsure how to cope with current challenges. Together, we’ll build tools to help you manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and regain a sense of control in your life.
I love helping children and adults to discover and reaffirm the best in themselves in order to see their own value and act upon. This will help them capitalize on their strengths rather than focusing on their negative characteristic.
CBT approach helps changing thought patterns that leads to anxiety or depression.
I help clients boost their skills related to accepting past or harmful events by making changes through analyzing their behavior and accepting their feelings to move forward in life.
I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into therapy to help clients process distressing memories, reduce emotional triggers, and build healthier coping patterns.”
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients increase psychological flexibility, reduce struggles with difficult thoughts and feelings, and live more fully in line with their values.”
