In seeking my own mental, emotional and spiritual answers, I had a profound personal awakening at age 28. This led me to join the first small group of psychologists pioneering the Three Principles understanding. I share this breakthrough with you and how it simplifies and expedites your finding the answers you seek and making the changes you want - recovering your feelings of wellbeing and confidence. I am publishing a four-book series that outlines and describes a simple step-by-step system (recommended but not required). Our sessions are relaxed and conversational. The process is less on expressing and examining your problems, although I take time to understand them at the beginning. The process is more about cultivating the ability to listen deeply to yourself and your inner wisdom, wellbeing and power. It will guide you to your answers and back to how feels and works best for you. Once understood, this is a free-flowing, easy and enjoyable experience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In essence, the client introduces themselves to help me get an understanding of their world and the issue(s) which with they want help. This also help me get a feel for them, their struggle and potential. I also answer the client's questions and give them a sense of me and how I work. This involves three "foundational" steps in a process to create the best results for them. I describe this in the first or second session, and we discuss it.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Deep listener who cares and can understand. Ability to tailor responses to the client in the moment - evoking their own wisdom and insight. They not only benefit from the specific insights and wisdom, but they strengthen their ongoing ability to access this inner resource throughout their life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Open-minded and open-hearted (sincere) clients willing to (1) let me get to know them and (2) listen to what I have to share in response. I ask clients to read a few introductory materials (audio-video materials are available as well). Given my decades of experience, I have successfully helped people struggling with nearly all diagnostic categories - including crisis. I have a subspecialty with therapists, executives and business owners. (I am published in professional journals apply my approach to leadership and high performance). I also work with couples.

My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

My specific positive psychology approach is called The Three Principles. I am a published pioneer in this breakthrough that clarifies how the mind works and produces healthy or unhealthy experience and outcomes. Our sessions are comfortable psycho-educational conversations that spark insight and spontaneous feels of inner wellbeing (relief, calm, confidence, hope, etc.). These grow and become grounded, thus creating a "new normal" of positive mental-emotional wellbeing with insights into specific problems.

Eclectic

I integrate brain science into our conversations. If interested, I integrate spiritual and ancient wisdom knowledge as well. There are many similarities to mindfulness and other approaches listed here.
