What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, We will start with brief introductions -including my service Dog Rosa. Then we will dive into specific challenges you are facing. Together we will work on the Initial assessments and tests to gain more knowledge about the symptoms you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In working with clients for over 8 years, I have shown great strength for being compassionate and giving the client the ability to feel heard and build motivation to heal. I have found that I have developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that lead to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with Teenagers and young adults because they are in the development stages of learning who they are and are eager to improve their lives. I also love to work with women who are dealing with anxiety, post partum, depression, or need more guidance in life. I am able to empower and motivate through the tools I provide for the healing needed.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to identify thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to your symptoms. We examine core beliefs and work through distorted thoughts that lead to negative feelings. I can help reframe and redirect your thoughts and take gradual steps toward behavioral change.

Compassion Focused

Self-Compassion is one of the most important components in healing. I help guide you in becoming more tender and utilize self care when going through a tough time. Some of the techniques can look like mindfulness, releasing the negative and anger. It allows for radical acceptance, moving past failures and moving forward.

Christian Counseling

Faith-based therapy can help you lean into your values to make decisions, understand suffering, set priorities, and create purpose and meaning in your life. In this approach we look at biblical teachings, spirituality, and religion.

Gestalt

My education and thesis consist of Gestalt in working to identify, interrupt, and change patterns contributing to your problem. It allows to be present, accept personal responsibility, and examine your life on a deeper level. I allow for Eco therapy to be a part of this process as well. Ecotherapy operates on the principle that immersing oneself in natural surroundings has a beneficial influence on one's mental and physical well-being. Ecotherapy, often referred to as nature therapy, can be conducted in various outdoor environments, whether it's a nearby park, a stroll on the beach, or gardening activities.

Trauma Informed Care

I have experience with Moral Reconation Therapy and Domestic violence certification to help with trauma you have faced. We look at it's impacts and work toward healing through empowerment and finding your voice.
