Hello! I'm Corrine. I look forward to working with you. While therapy can be scary and difficult, it can also be life changing and exhilarating. It can bring enlightenment, inspiration, and transformation to your life. Together, we will create a collaborative space where we can reflect on patterns and beliefs that exist in your life and affect your relationships, interactions, and responses in various situations. We will connect past experiences to current behaviors and thought patterns that may no longer serve you. Through our work, we will aim to uncover the root of anxiety, depression, or trauma and build healthy coping skills. Ultimately, I hope to empower you to improve the quality of your relationships and have agency over your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will explore what brought you in to therapy, any past experience in therapy and your hopes and expectations. Time allowing, I will spend time learning more about you, your strengths and what makes you who you are.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I understand the importance of consistency when it comes to change and I am reliable. I show up ready to do the work and be present for your needs.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

During the assessment phase, I explore any potential trauma you may have experienced and its lasting effects. I find it important to provide treatment understanding that everyone has experiences from their past that continue to influence their thinking patterns, responses and interactions with others.

Relational

I explore your current and historical relationships to better understand how your relationships serve you and how you might respond differently in different relationships. I help you reflect on any changes you may wish to make in the way you relate to others.

Interpersonal

We will look at a specific challenge you may be experiencing, whether it be a challenge in one of your relationships, a change in your role (with family or friends), or maybe setting boundaries in a specific relationship. Here, we can work on effective communication skills if appropriate.
