Hi! I’m a licensed professional counselor and board-certified art therapist located in Pennsylvania. I have been practicing for five years in a variety of settings including out patient, inpatient, and residential treatment centers. As an art therapist and licensed professional counselor, I believe in the power of mindfulness, creativity, and practical skills to help clients build confidence, align with their values, and foster a healthier relationship with food, mind, and body.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences with self-compassion and move toward meaningful growth. In our first session, we will get to know one another by exchanging brief introductions then begin diving into what brings you to therapy. We will end will mindfulness and/or a skill you can take with you to practice between sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Practicing as a clinician and an art therapist, I really value the creative process of therapy and healing. With my patience and calm demeanor, I provide a safe and validating space for my clients to explore various aspects of their lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m passionate about supporting young adults and adults navigating life transitions, body image concerns, self-esteem challenges, disordered eating, anxiety, and depression.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT in sessions to help clients find balance between acceptance and behavior change. This approach allows me to meet you where you are, validate your experiences, and equip you with practical skills to build a life worth living. Mindfulness is the foundation of DBT and is woven into the other three core skills we will practice: emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I also use Acceptance and Commitment therapy in sessions to help clients build psychological flexibility by accepting their thoughts and emotions rather than struggling against them. Together, we will practice skills such as cognitive defusion, acceptance, present-moment awareness, self-as-context, values clarification, and committed action.
