I have used CBT in my practice since 2016. Most of my patients have benefited from CBT to help with low self esteem, personal growth and understanding, identify life goals, and develop new coping skills.
I have DBT in my practice with patients since 2016. I have used it to treat borderline personality disorder, but I have found to using this treatment with CBT helps my clients with mindfulness and growth in themselves to understand benefits it has on their self esteem and life stressors.
I have EMDR certified since 2021. I use EMDR to help treat clients with a history of trauma.
I have been using couples counseling in my practice since 2022. I help partners learn how to communicate with each other in a way that they feel heard and function as a unit.
I have been using motivational interviewing since 2015 in my practice. I was certified in it 2016. I use motivational interviewing to help client identify reasons for making positive changes in their lives, rather than relying on external pressure or guidance. It's a collaborative, client-centered approach that focuses on eliciting and strengthening a person's motivation for change.
