If you are looking at my profile you are probably having some life difficulty. I was in your shoes years ago and the decision to seek therapy was the best decision I ever made. It helped me take control of my life. I help people discover themselves, empower them with tools and knowledge and help them heal. I work to help high functioning people to live their best life, unburdened by trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, performance issues and more. My aim is to help the client to have the tools, knowledge and experience to go into the world sufficiently prepared to attain their goals.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
We will get down to business, learn about each other and give an idea of what their therapy will look like.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I predominantly use Transactional Analysis for treatment. It is psychodynamic work that addresses thoughts, behaviors and feelings in a way that is easy for the client to understand. TA is a very good way to help the client understand what is going on with them, it helps him or her to recognize the origins of the difficulty. TA offers a structure and direction for the therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength is the willingness to go wherever the client needs to go. I am very solid in highly charged situations. I am annoyingly consistent, honest and human. I have also been through the therapeutic process (I was a client) and I have done all of the things I will ask the client to do. Secondly, I know the treatment works, having been through it, so for me it's not theoretical, it is experiential.
