Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California and received my Masters degree from the University of Southern California. I have been in the field for a little over 10 years now and and have provided therapy to clients for approximately 8 years. I help adolescents and adults work through issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, family and peer relationships, body image, depression, academic and work stress, grief and loss, and anger management.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will complete an initial assessment that will allow me to better understand you as an individual, your history, discuss what led you to therapy, and collaborate on client-centered goals to help you reach your best potential.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I will give 100% of my energy, focus, and attention on you during our time together. My goal is to ensure that you are heard, that your thoughts and feelings are validated, and most importantly, that we are discussing and working on the things that you want to discuss and work on. My approach is and always will be client-centered.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with teenagers who are in middle and high school as well as adults that are in various stages of life. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make their goals a reality.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have over 8 years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. CBT has helped my clients change their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to solve problems. During our time together, we will identify problems, analyze problems, learn how to change thoughts and behaviors, practice change, and discuss progress.

Motivational Interviewing

I have over 8 years of experience using Motivational Interviewing in my practice. Motivational Interviewing has helped my clients find the motivation from within to make positive behavior changes in their lives. During our time together, we will collaborate on client-centered goals for change, explore the reason for change, and make a plan to achieve it.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have over 8 years of experience using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in my practice. SFBT has helped my clients create solutions instead of focusing on problems. During our time together, we will identify your typical or default solution patters, evaluate them for effectiveness, then modify or replace them with problem-solving tools and techniques that yield positive results and outcomes.
