Hi! I am a licensed clinical social worker in Michigan. I received my bachelors in social work from Rutgers University; my masters in social work from the University of Michigan; and my doctorate in social work from the University of Southern California. I have spent the last 20 years working with children, adolescent, and adults in the areas of: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Perinatal Mood Disorder (Postpartum Depression), Oppositional Defiance, Attachment, and Parenting strategies. I also provide professional development for those in the infant and early childhood field in the form of reflective supervision. I help adults struggling with anxiety, and parenting. I help them learn effective ways to co-regulate and function at their best in the parenting role.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My vast background in working with children and adults. I have over 20 experience working with people between the ages of 0 to 65. I am very reflective in my approach. My method is attachment based with CBT.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am a licensed clinical social worker and an endorsed Infant Mental Health professional in Michigan with over 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, abuse, motivation, self esteem, confidence, parenting skills, postpartum depression, compassion fatigue (due to work related issues and life stressors), and professional development through reflective supervision for professionals working in the early childhood sector. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients combat negative thinking that act as a hinderance to their life goals. You are the hero in your own story despite what life has thrown at you. This step you are taking for your own mental health is a huge one and takes a lot of courage. You should feel proud of yourself.
