Hi! I'm a licensed clinical social worker from Los Angeles, CA, and I work with college students, young adults, and adults. I bring a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy. I earned my MSW from the University of Southern California (USC). I specialize in helping my clients navigate anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem issues, guiding them through challenges with empathy and understanding. I focus on empowering my clients to recognize their strengths and potential, fostering resilience and growth. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where the impact I have on a client's life can lead to meaningful change, helping them build a more fulfilling and balanced life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, my clients can expect an inviting, nonjudgmental environment where they can freely share their thoughts and concerns. I take time to listen closely as they explain what has brought them to therapy, including any current challenges, personal history, and initial goals they may have. This session is about building a clear understanding of your story and ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported as we explore the path forward. We’ll also discuss what therapy will look like, including how sessions are structured, what approaches we might use, and ways we can make the most of our time together. I encourage my clients to ask questions, express any concerns, and share what you hope to achieve through our work. By the end of the first session, my goal is for my clients to feel validated, understood, and hopeful about the journey we’re beginning.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a mental health therapist lie in my ability to connect with clients on a deep, authentic level and to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where they feel genuinely understood. My years of experience have taught me how to navigate a variety of mental health challenges and tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I am skilled in using a range of evidence-based techniques, and I am committed to helping my clients uncover insights and empower themselves for lasting change. This blend of empathy, expertise, and flexibility allows me to support my clients in achieving meaningful growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve young professionals navigating the complexities of their personal and professional lives. My clients often excel in their careers, demonstrating strong capabilities and ambition. Yet, they may wrestle with underlying issues such as anxiety, self-doubt, trauma, or life transitions that can hinder their overall well-being. My clients are typically motivated to seek growth and improvement but may feel overwhelmed or stuck despite their accomplishments. I provide a supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, helping them develop practical strategies to manage stress, enhance self-esteem, and navigate challenges effectively. By focusing on their strengths and aspirations, I empower my clients to achieve a greater sense of balance and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives. Through tailored therapeutic approaches, I guide my clients toward sustainable change, allowing them to thrive in all areas of their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize and understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify negative or unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress or unwanted behaviors. By utilizing practical tools and exercises, CBT empowers my clients to challenge and reframe their thoughts, develop healthier coping strategies, and make positive changes in their daily lives. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, focusing on building skills that my clients can use long after therapy ends.

Psychodynamic

I use Psychodynamic Therapy to help my clients explore the deeper, often unconscious influences on their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we look at how past experiences and unresolved conflicts may shape current challenges or patterns. Through open and reflective dialogue, my clients gain insight into these underlying issues, which helps to increase self-awareness and fosters long-term growth. This approach encourages meaningful self-reflection, allowing clients to make more conscious choices and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify and build on their strengths and resources to create meaningful change. This approach is forward-looking and centers on clients' goals, focusing on solutions rather than dwelling on problems. Together, we explore what is already working and envision practical steps to achieve desired outcomes. SFBT is a collaborative and empowering process, helping clients see their potential and achieve positive change quickly.

Strength-Based

I use a Strengths-Based approach, which focuses on recognizing and building upon my client's existing strengths, abilities, and resilience. Rather than centering on problems or limitations, we identify and celebrate the resources and skills you already have to help you navigate challenges. This approach encourages self-confidence and empowers my clients to see themselves as capable of growth and positive change. Together, we work to harness your unique strengths as tools for overcoming obstacles and achieving your goals.
