As a mental health therapist, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating life’s challenges and seeking meaningful change. I have a special interest in supporting adolescents exploring their identity and sense of self, as well as adults facing stress, transitions, or uncertainty about their path forward. In my work with couples, I help partners create a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and healthy communication. Whether you're feeling stuck, disconnected, or misunderstood, my goal is to help you rebuild clarity and connection—both within yourself and your relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where there’s no pressure to have it all figured out. We’ll start by getting to know each other — I’ll ask some questions about what brings you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You’re free to share at your own pace, and there’s no “right” way to show up. The goal of this first session is to begin building trust and helping you feel seen, safe, and supported.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to hold space for clients who are navigating the deep and often complex impact of trauma. I have extensive experience working with individuals whose trauma has led to persistent anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm. I understand that healing isn't linear, and I offer a grounded, nonjudgmental presence that helps clients feel safe enough to explore what’s beneath the surface. I'm skilled at helping clients connect the dots between past experiences and present struggles, while also supporting them in developing tools for relief, self-compassion, and long-term change. My approach is trauma-informed, empathetic, and deeply attuned to each client’s unique process.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I’m here for clients who are ready to feel deeply, face what’s been holding them back, and create meaningful change. If you're done just coping and want to actually see a difference in how you move through life—your relationships, your emotions, your sense of self—we’ll work well together. My approach supports you in feeling more connected, grounded, and empowered as you grow.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In sessions, I focus on building a genuine and empathetic therapeutic relationship, offering unconditional positive regard and deep, active listening. This means I meet clients where they are, respecting their values, culture, and lived experience without trying to “fix” them. Instead, I support them in discovering their own solutions and inner strength.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work with clients, I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and replacing them with more balanced, realistic ones. I use CBT to help manage anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem issues by teaching practical tools like cognitive reframing, mindfulness, and behavior activation.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop healthier ways to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build distress tolerance. DBT is especially helpful for teens and adults who feel overwhelmed by their emotions or struggle with impulsivity, anxiety, or mood instability. In our sessions, we focus on practical skills from DBT’s four key areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I support clients in learning how to stay present, respond instead of react, and build more balanced and fulfilling lives.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I take a trauma-focused approach to therapy, recognizing how past experiences—especially those involving loss, abuse, neglect, or sudden change—can deeply impact a person's emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of safety. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing can happen at a pace that feels right for you.
