I specialize in working with adults who have ADHD, helping them understand how it affects their daily lives and providing tools to manage challenges like focus, time management, and organization. In addition, I focus on the deeper emotional and mental health aspects that often accompany ADHD, such as anxiety, self-esteem issues, and frustration. My approach is collaborative, aiming to address both the practical and emotional layers of ADHD, and to help clients build on their strengths while developing strategies that work for their unique needs.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take a comprehensive look at your history and the current state of your social, emotional, mental, and physical health. This helps us understand the bigger picture of what you’re experiencing. In our second session, we’ll focus more deeply on the main reason you’ve come to therapy, so we can start to develop strategies and goals that are tailored to your unique needs.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to intuitively understand and empathize with my clients, creating a space where they feel truly heard. I’m skilled at tailoring tools and strategies to fit each person’s unique strengths and needs, ensuring that what we work on is practical and effective for them. I also focus on exploring the deeper roots of current challenges, often uncovering underlying patterns that may be contributing to the present concerns. Ultimately, I take a holistic approach, considering all aspects of a person’s life—emotional, mental, and physical—to create a comprehensive plan for healing and growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults who are navigating the challenges of ADHD, particularly those struggling with time management, task prioritization, procrastination, and self-esteem. Many of my clients also deal with emotional aspects like rejection sensitivity and imposter syndrome, which are often amplified by ADHD. I’m passionate about helping individuals who feel overwhelmed or stuck, and I aim to provide them with strategies that not only improve daily functioning but also address the emotional and mental health side of ADHD to foster greater self-acceptance and confidence.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use a variety of treatment methods with CBT being the most common modality as it can be used with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and depression.
Attachment-based
I use attachment based therapy to work through relationship issues the client may be experiencing as well as family dysfunction in childhood.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT for improving emotional regulation and interpersonal and communication skills.
Existential
I use existential therapy when working with clients who are in life transitions and are seeking direction or in working with trauma.

Ashley is really great about making me feel comfortable when it comes to talking about things that would normally make me feel very uncomfrtable. She listens, asks questions, and really tries to help you work towards your goals. She makes sure that you are invovled in what those goals are so it really feels like a collaboration. She is the only therapist i have stuck with consistantly now and i plan to keep it that way!

Ashley is so amazing and I am so thankful that I chose her to be my therapist. I feel a very special bond with her like I have never found before. She helps me to dig down and bring out stuff that has been suppressed for years. She has helped me so much since we started our sessions and I look forward to more with her.

I found Grow Therapy by doing an online search through my insurance company. I looked through several therapists and came across Ashley. I chose her because I felt an instant connection. I was right in trusting my gut, she is great and I look forward to working with her.
