Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has 11+ years in providing therapy. I graduated with my Masters at The University of Georgia. I believe individuals are inherently resilient. I enjoy working with a diversity of adults specializing in treating clients with depression, anxiety, and trauma while providing a warm, compassionate space. I utilize evidenced-based practices including cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and client-centered interventions. I am ready to join you on your journey of healing and am privileged to be part of it.
Our first session will be focused on answering any questions you may have and discovering your unique needs.
I tailor every session to each client. I utilize a number of different modalities which allows maximum flexibility in therapeutic interventions.
I especially enjoy working with adults who are wanting something more in their lives. Oftentimes, a client initially seeks therapy because of feeling stuck, afraid, or confused.
Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are inter- and intra-connected. By identifying and modifying negative thoughts mood can be improved.
Mindfulness is such a valuable skill in our fast paced world. Practicing mindfulness can reduce anxious and depressive symptoms.
We are all "perfectly imperfect" as Rachel Naomi Remen has described humans. Compassion and empathy help us move past our imperfections.
