Hello! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that has been practicing mental health in a variety of roles for over 7 years! I love working with those who have difficulties around feeling overwhelmed by life’s uncertainty and want to seek their true strength and purpose. With my help, you will begin to make the changes necessary to be the own agency of change to your issue as and enact your purpose in life!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will start with brief introductions and then move towards unpacking the various issues you would like to resolve, and filter those issues in a way that helps us identify in rank order the issues we would be able to address with a comprehensive and collaborative treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with an array of different cases and clients from substance abuse, to personality disorders, and psychotic disorders, I feel I have the expertise and experience to manage the toughest of cases and collaboratively find resolutions and help the client improve their own circumstances.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT my aim would be to build trust, discuss the issues that brought you to seek help, aid you in identifying and challenging the negative thoughts that perpetuate the dilemma, and help you to develop healthier thought patterns and coping strategies.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

Using DBT I would collaborate with you to create a goal-oriented approach while teaching you practical skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. We would practice and apply these skills in person and with homework assignments to use these skills outside therapy to improve your emotional well-being and your relationships.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT aims to enhance relationship quality through emotional connection and understanding. Using Emotional Focused therapy we would be exploring and understanding emotions within your relationships. Through creating a safe space, I would help you appropriately express emotions, and work on improving emotional bonds and communication.

Existential

Existential Therapy delves into life's meaning and purpose. Through creating a reflective space for you to explore values and choices, we would focus on personal responsibility and authentic living to find deeper fulfillment and purpose.

Faith based therapy

Faith-based therapy incorporates spiritual beliefs and values into the counseling process. We would collaborate to explore how faith influences your thoughts and emotions, using religious texts and practices for guidance and support. The aim is to harmonize faith with your mental and emotional well-being, promoting strength and resilience through your spirituality.
