Hello! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified (PMHNP-BC). I obtained my Master's degree from Walden University and have been practicing for over 4 years. My responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing psychiatric disorders based on clinical evaluation, patient history, and diagnostic criteria. I enjoy developing individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs and goals. I also prescribe psychotropic medications, monitor and manage side effects, and adjust dosages as necessary. Additionally, I provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and then delve into your specific challenges. This will help me create a personalized plan for us to work through in subsequent sessions. We will discuss your psychiatric and medical history, family background, psychiatric history, previous medications, and any history of trauma.
1. Utilizing advanced education and specialized training in mental health care enables me to diagnose and treat complex psychiatric conditions. 2. Ability to consider the full spectrum of a patient's life—physical health, emotional well-being, social circumstances, and environmental factors. 3. Establish trust and rapport with clients, fostering a safe environment to share and work through issues.
As a psychiatric nurse, I am well-positioned to serve mental health clients with specialized training, providing advanced training and knowledge to prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.

Super intuitive. Open minded and respectful. Super supportive and knowledgeable. Asked meaningful probing questions to get the full Picture. Understood all the nuances involved in the mental health space. Didn’t feel like I had to “convince” her I needed help which led me to understand my condition. Looking forward to working with her.

My first visit with Michele was a special meeting because I was in a very bad place, but she talk to me gently but push me a little emotionally to start taking first steps to get better mentally to a point that I could start going outside by myself. She really listens to everything that you have to say and will recommend treatment such as medicine and counseling.
