Sometimes the most difficult step is the first one, and today you have made it. My name is Amanda and I am passionate about helping you uncover the highest version of yourself, while also holding space for where you are in this moment. I will partner with you to promote self exploration, vulnerability and authenticity and meet you with compassion as your guide toward a new frame of mind. I use an eclectic approach of cognitive and trauma focused modalities, as well as humanistic therapy. I believe in a holistic and strengths based perspective that takes into account who you are as a person in all areas of your life. I look forward to partnering with you in this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will be an assessment process to help me understand who you are and what led you to seek therapy. We will then work collaboratively to set goals that start with the end in mind. Once we determine our direction, we will dive into sessions that explore past and present realities that have contributed to your current patterns of living. We will work together to identify what no longer serves you and dream of the version of “you” that you would like to be. We will consistently move toward that version, and evaluate our goals and progress along the way, until you are filled with peace and have an increased reflective capacity that facilitates continued growth and progress.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a warm, compassionate, inclusive and supportive advocate for you in this journey you are in. In me, you will find someone who has worked to support a wide range of individuals which include children, teens, adults and families. I have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health through Post Partum Support International and enjoy partnering with parents, those who are expecting, and those experiencing loss. I serve all Florida residents who are seeking support.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy serving client's of all backgrounds, including children, adults, women and families. My treatment methods

Humanistic

I have been using the Humanistic approach to therapy throughout my 17 years of practicing. I believe in focusing on each person's individual nature, and to consider the whole person as we work toward developing the best treatment options. The emphasis in our sessions together is to find your positive traits and behaviors and develop your ability to use your instincts to find wisdom, growth, healing, and fulfillment.
