What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will verbally cover some ground rules to include the limitations of confidentlity. Then, I will begin to review the intake form that you took the time to complete and begin to explore what goals you wish to achieve in therapy. My goal is always to begin to build rapport and help you to feel more comfortable with the therapy process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used cognitive behavioral therapy during the bulk of my experience as a therapist dating back to 2014. I help clients identify unhealthy or negative thought patterns and beliefs that could be contributing to their mental health problem. I help clients learn how to think about themselves and their problems in alternative ways that help them improve their mood and accomplish their goals. I also help clients activate positive behavior through realistic goals as well as to learn CBT coping skills such as deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation and, thought-stopping.
