Hello, I’m Logan, a dedicated and compassionate LMFT therapist with a mission to support you on your journey towards emotional well-being. With six years of experience working with diverse populations and communities that have faced severe trauma, I have honed my skills in helping individuals navigate life’s toughest challenges. My approach is centered on creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. Unlike many therapists, I prefer a more casual approach, making our sessions feel more comfortable and approachable. I believe in working collaboratively with you, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet your unique needs. This collaborative process ensures that you are actively involved in your therapy, empowering you to discover your strengths and build resilience. Specializing in trauma-informed care and acceptance and commitment therapy, I am equipped to provide effective and personalized support for a wide range of mental health challenges. Let’s work together to transform your life and achieve your desired emotional well-being. Oh, and just a heads-up—my dogs and toddler might pop into our sessions from time to time, adding a bit of unexpected charm! So, if you’re cool with some background chaos and occasional toddler giggles while we tackle those trauma dumps, we’ll get along just fine.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you'll find a welcoming and relaxed environment where we start building a comfortable and trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll begin with introductions and I'll explain my approach to therapy. You'll have the opportunity to share what brought you to therapy, including specific issues or goals. We'll also explore some of your background to provide context for your concerns. Together, we'll identify initial goals for our work and address any questions you might have about the therapeutic process. We'll also discuss scheduling future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is my rock-solid commitment to empathy. I approach every client with genuine compassion, aiming to truly understand your unique experiences and emotions without any judgment. Empathy is the heart of my practice, creating a safe and validating space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I also believe in the power of teamwork. In our sessions, you're not just a passive participant – you're an active partner in your journey towards well-being. We'll dive into your strengths, tackle your challenges, and chase after your aspirations together, working towards positive and lasting change. It's all about collaborating and having a supportive, engaging experience as we move forward on this path.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that I use frequently in my practice due to its effectiveness in fostering profound personal insights and emotional healing. Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS focuses on understanding and harmonizing the different "parts" within an individual, including protective and vulnerable parts, as well as the core Self, which is inherently wise and compassionate. In my practice, I create a safe environment for clients to explore their inner world. I guide them in identifying and describing their different parts and understanding the roles these parts play. We work on building trust with protective parts before gently accessing and healing the exiled parts that carry trauma or intense emotions. By helping clients connect with their core Self, they can lead their internal system towards greater harmony and balance.
