My treatment methods

EMDR

I rely heavily on EMDR to desensitize experiences, reprocess memory networks as well as install positive & more adaptive memory networks. I have extensive experience with both complex trauma as well as single incident trauma. What I find most rewarding is helping explore the less obvious experiences that are getting in the way of a more adaptive way to living.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Helping identify automatic thoughts and core beliefs are essential for acknowledging what is being cued within us to create the reaction we are presenting with.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT can be a great way to gain immediate relief and skill building while trying to stabilize.

Sandplay

Sandplay allows for an outward depiction of what our internal self is trying to communicate. Utilizing figurines and sand for sensory and displacement of our experiences help address more uncomfortable experiences we may not be expecting or be familiar with as needed.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma Informed Care is understanding that each person's experiences is unique with it's own appropriate needs.
