New clients continue care with this provider

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with clinical specialization in helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, and insomnia. I have 15 years of experience in the mental health field. In addition, I completed a Certificate in Executive Coaching at William James College. Lastly, as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), I can help clients cope with issues related to financial health and wellness. My approach is collaborative, strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll work together to understand what brings you to therapy and what your goals are. I like to get a sense of what you are struggling with in that initial session. I'll also provide you with a brief overview of my approach and the general structure for future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work hard to make sure my clients feel safe and heard. I love to have clients try out the tools to help them cope with their symptoms in our sessions. It's all about working as a team to find the tools and solutions that work best for clients.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients who are coping with anxiety and depression. The clients who seem to benefit from working with me are those who are open to exploring the patterns of thinking and behaving that cause them distress. Clients who are motivated to work hard in our sessions and follow through on their action plans outside of session have the best outcomes.
