Hi! I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I speak both English and Spanish. I come from a Hispanic culture. I am native to the west Texas area. I received my Masters degree at West Texas A&M University in 2020. I have a background in working with individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, teen counseling, and group counseling. I have an experience in working with nonprofit agencies, and a psychiatric hospital in Texas. I enjoy assisting others with their needs and helping them break down their current issues. My goal is to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible. I do enjoy seeing clients grow with their mental health journey, and develop new coping skills that will assist their mental health needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we can introduce ourselves. I will discuss the benefits and risks of counseling. I will give you time to discuss your concerns and prioritize which topics you would like to work on first.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In working with clients of all ages and concerns, I have the ability to be flexible and will work my best to see your perspective on your stressors.

I have used CBT with many clients of various backgrounds, we are able to process emotions and thoughts that lead to certain behaviors.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This form of therapy allows the session to focus on the client’s needs and concerns.

Group Therapy

Group therapy allows multiple individuals to process emotions, problem solve, and become educated on additional coping skills.

Motivational Interviewing

This has given clients an opportunity to reflect on their needs, and discuss their problem solving skills.
