The most difficult part about healing is being patient and loving yourself enough to know that you deserve better. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a PhD candidate specializing in Family Studies. My background includes working with diverse populations in various capacities such as clinical research, domestic violence, substance abuse, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health. My approach is tailored to meet the needs and diversity of each individual client. I work with individuals who suffer from racial trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and issues with self-esteem. My passion is to help individuals heal and find peace in an unbalanced world. To learn more about my practice, please go to: www.2pointperspective.org.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I help clients learn how to cope with difficult emotions and situations, and develop healthy coping mechanisms by providing support and guidance throughout the therapeutic process. My aim is to help individuals become more resilient, gain self-awareness, and find new ways to respond to life's challenges.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My therapeutic approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I find my biggest strength is in working with minorities. I possess strong interpersonal skills and am able to build relationships and connect with people from all walks of life. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and I aim to create a positive atmosphere that allows everyone to feel comfortable.
