I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Michigan. I received my master’s from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and have been practicing for 20 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress relationship issues and burnout to become the best versions of themselves. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to explore and address their mental and emotional challenges. I aim to bring a wealth of insight and empathy to your experience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session serves as an opportunity for us to get to know each other, establish rapport, and lay the groundwork for a successful therapeutic relationship. I will provide an overview of the therapy process and create a welcoming and safe environment for the client to express themselves. I will ask questions to gather information about the client's current concerns, background, history, and goals for therapy. Together, we will work to establish clear goals and expectations for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a deep capacity for empathy and compassion, allowing them to understand and validate their clients' experiences without judgment, active listener with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of mental health issues. Other strengths include cultural competence and adhering to professional ethics and boundaries, to ensure and maintain confidentiality, respect client autonomy, and always providing ethical care.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to identify and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors to promote positive changes in emotions and behavior. This involves collaborative goal setting, cognitive restructuring techniques, behavioral experiments, and skill-building exercises to help individuals develop more adaptive coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.
