Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Master's from Lamar University in Beaumont Texas. I have been practicing for less than 5 years. I am a practical, and down-to-earth individual. As a clinician, I help families, young adults, couples, and individuals by providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. My approach to therapy is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During the client's first therapy session, expectations often include establishing rapport, discussing confidentiality, and outlining the therapeutic process. The client will be provided an opportunity to share their concerns and goals, while I will assess their needs. I will explain the therapeutic approach, set initial treatment goals collaboratively, and address any questions or concerns the client may have. Overall, the first session will lay the foundation for a trusting therapeutic relationship and provide clarity on how therapy will proceed.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength as a therapist lies in my ability to create a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance and fostering trust and collaboration. Additionally, I adapt evidence-based approaches to meet individual needs, recognizing the uniqueness of each client's experience. My commitment to ongoing learning ensures that I stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and interventions to provide effective support for my clients.
