What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session with me as your therapist will be a wonderful introductory session to build history and review all needed information. It is important to build therapeutic rapport and create moments of trust and alliance.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a therapist, I utilize humor and create bonds of trust and empathy with empathetic listening. It is my joy to serve my clients as this is my passion to work in the helping profession. Creating a helping and open environment to share is my greatest strength.

My treatment methods

Reality Therapy

Reality therapy is a client-centered form of cognitive-behavioral therapy that focuses on improving present relationships and circumstances, with less concern and discussion of past events. This approach is based on the idea that our most important need is to be loved, to feel that we belong and that all other basic needs can be satisfied only by building strong connections with others. Reality therapy sees behavior as choices, and it teaches us that while we cannot control how we feel, we can control how we think and behave.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts by interrogating and uprooting negative or irrational beliefs. Considered a "solutions-oriented" form of talk therapy, CBT rests on the idea that thoughts and perceptions influence behavior.

Eclectic

Eclectic therapists do not limit themselves to any single approach or method, but select techniques from a variety of sources without necessarily subscribing to just one theory. This method allows the therapist to follow the lead of the session and provide the client what they need based on what is discussed and goals agreed upon.
