What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Our first session is just a "get to know you and hear why you are seeking counseling session" so we will do Intake and Assessment to know what your needs are and how services may help. It is a casual hour of conversation that leads to some planning and goal-setting we will work on together.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing which are all Evidenced-Based Therapies with PROVEN RESULTS. I will also use other approaches related to these methods that are more focused to your specific problem. "Customized-Therapy" is what is often needed.
