Hello!!!! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the great state of Texas. I also hold a doctorate 15 years of experience. I help adults cope with life stressors. I also help clients find solutions to some of the tough issues that life will take us through. I also provide new perspective in spaces that are welcoming and non judgmental.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am an active listener. I listen to understand. That is so important as therapist. I am compassionate and funny. I believe in emotionally healing and self love in addition to incorporating therapeutic interventions. I have the ability to make clients feel comfortable enough to disclose things that sometimes only travel within self. I also provide new perspective in spaces that are welcoming and non judgmental.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a way to help clients reframe their thoughts which can create change in behavior patterns.

Strength-Based

I use strength based therapy to empower, help clients rebuild self image, self esteem and motivate to create new successful goals to promote a healthier version of self.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I partner mindfulness based therapy with cognitive behavior therapy to help clients recognize and reassess negative thoughts and replace with thoughts related to reality. I use techniques to help declutter the mind and make room for positive thoughts to enter.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I have extensive experience with rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). I help clients challenge sabotaging thoughts in various ways as well as encourage a sense of self awareness that promotes accountability for behaviors. This increases successful outcomes in therapy by helping to crate change.
