LPCC, 8 years of experience
Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California, and I also speak Spanish. My goal is to provide therapeutic support by helping individuals explore and solidify their identities, develop coping skills, and achieve the changes they seek in their lives. Are you feeling overwhelmed and helpless due to anxiety or depression? Are you dealing with grief or loss and in need of a safe space to process those feelings? Perhaps you are navigating life changes, such as moving away for college or being separated from family. You might also feel trapped and struggle to balance the demands of motherhood. You are not alone. As a wife and mother myself, I understand the challenges of juggling home life, a career, and maintaining one's sense of identity. I aim to provide therapeutic support that empowers you to explore and solidify your identity while developing effective coping skills and achieving the changes you desire.
In our first session, we will start with introductions and discuss the challenges you are currently facing. Together, we will establish your therapy goals, which will help me create a personalized plan for our future sessions. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. We will review your intake form and discuss what led you to seek therapy. If time permits, we will also set treatment goals; if not, we can address that in our next session. I specialize in helping women manage stress and anxiety related to life and motherhood. Additionally, I work with individuals experiencing life transitions, helping them normalize their feelings of guilt and anger while discussing ways to navigate these situations. My goal is to support you in reaching your objectives within an empathetic and compassionate environment where you feel safe. I am nonjudgmental and like to develop quick rapport with my clients.
I am a seasoned mental health psychotherapist. My biggest strengths include being a good listener, empathetic, and nonjudgmental.
My treatment approach focuses on addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, coping skills, relationship challenges, interpersonal conflict, and stress management related to life changes. I adopt a humanistic and client-centered perspective in therapy, prioritizing acceptance and a non-judgmental attitude while working with clients. I aim to understand your life experiences—both current and past—concerning the challenges you might face. I emphasize genuineness and empathy, helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Additionally, I take a strengths-based approach, which allows us to build upon existing skills while also developing new ones along the way.
I promote the understanding of the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behavior. My goal when using CBT is to help my clients to identify and modify the thoughts that are sustaining emotions and influencing the behavior that clients want to change.
I use Interpersonal Psychotherapy to assist my clients in improving the quality of their interpersonal relationships affecting their mental health.
I use Motivational Intervening to help clients experiencing ambivalence towards behavior change.

Lilly made me feel confident jumping back into therapy. And it wasn't as overwhelming to retell the ups and downs of my life story to create our therapy foundation. Looking forward to my next session.
