Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and have been practicing for 7 years. My primary goal is to establish a trusting relationship and working collaboratively with my clients to achieve their goals. I integrate tools from cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, client-centered, mindfulness, relational therapy, and trauma-informed care in a way that fits your unique goals and personality. Whether you're here to heal from something painful or just figure things out, we’ll work together. If you’re ready to start, or even just curious, I’d love to talk. Feel free to reach out for a consultation—I’m here when you’re ready.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I have a passion in helping people through their pain and suffering by creating a space of acceptance and open respect. I strive to provide a nurturing and safe environment where my clients can receive encouragement and non-judgmental support as I walk alongside my clients to reach their therapeutic goals. My goal is to help people navigate their lives and improve relationships in a healthy way.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I create a safe, non-judgmental environment that is built upon connection, empathy, and shared understanding. I value the perspective of each person and consider them an expert in their experiences. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative—I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move at your pace.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My focus of practice is working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, difficulty prioritizing own needs, and burn-out.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I utilize psychodynamic to help a client in deep and lasting ways by uncovering the underlying emotional and relational patterns that contribute to their current struggles. I can use psychodynamic therapy to help you understand yourself more deeply, identify and change unconscious patterns, heal from the past by working on unresolved feelings, improve relationships in a healthier and authentic way. I can assist in strengthening emotional resilience to better manage strong emotions without being overwhelmed and promote long-term change by addressing the root causes of distress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to assist client in identifying unhelpful thoughts, challenge and reframe those thoughts, and understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. We will learn practical coping skills to manage anxiety, cope with stress, or stop a negative spiral. We can set realistic and achievable goals to track progress and build on them.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I can use DBT to teach practical skills to manage emotions without becoming overwhelmed, balance acceptance and change to feel better and move forward, and learn to use the main types of skills (mindfulness to help stay present and grounded, emotion regulation to manage intense feelings, distress tolerance to increase toleration of uncomfortable situations, and interpersonal effectiveness to set healthy boundaries).

Attachment-based

Using attachment-based therapy focus on helping the individual understand and heal from early relationship wounds, primarily those formed with caregivers. We can explore early relationships and attachment patterns, identify attachment style, repair relational wounds, develop new ways of relating, and create a safe and secure therapeutic relationship.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help the individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. EMDR help client reduce the emotional charge of painful memories and shift how those memories are stored in the brain.
