I specialize in life challenges that trigger stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, and PTSD. Stress, pain, fear, and confusion are alarm clocks that beg to be heard and answered. Therapy is one way to turn down the noise and listen to our inner voice. We can't always control what is outside of us, but we have the agency to engage self-mastery that guides that inner voice toward wisdom that heals and integrates the pieces we may have lost along the way.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I our first session, it is my duty to gain your trust so much of the session involves tangibles like expounding on what brought you to therapy and learning who you are so that I can fashion approaches that respect your philosophies while also introducing new perspectives.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I understand how daunting it is to find a therapist when past decisions led to pain. To that, I can only say, that trust is built through time and safe spaces where healing can lead to clarity.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Focus on changing negative thinking and cognitive distortions that impact self-perception and perspective.

Narrative

Based on the idea that our identities are shaped by the stories we tell about ourselves and the stories others tell about us. Instead of seeing the person as the problem, the narrative approach sees the problem as the problem. Thus, opening the doors to re-authoring the life story in a fuller way.

Hypnotherapy

Helps remember and heal various parts of the psyche that conventional therapy may not access. Specialize in regression to address earlier present life issues as well as past lives where answers can be found to heal present life struggles.

Transpersonal

A holistic approach that considers the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—recognizing that psychological health is interconnected with spiritual well-being.

Trauma Informed Care

Approach to providing care that recognizes and responds to the widespread impact of trauma on individuals, as well as exploring solutions and insight.
