Taking the first step towards bettering your mental health by considering therapy is commendable. It's a brave and empowering decision, even though it can also feel confusing or scary at times. Remember that you're not alone on this journey, and seeking support is a sign of strength. I'm here to help. With my services, you have a partner in navigating life's challenges. I'm looking forward to making a difference in the lives of my clients by unearthing and maximizing their strengths despite their circumstances.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. This helps establish a connection and sets the tone for the session. I'll then encourage you to openly discuss the specific challenges or area of concern you'd like to address in therapy. We will work to set a goal along with meaningful action steps to guide us in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a good listener I work at helping clients feel heard and understood and create a supportive therapeutic environment.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

My eclectic approach to treatment combines several ways to approach therapy. This approach allows a focus on the unique needs, preferences, and circumstances of clients. Rather than just focusing on the problem at hand I work with clients to explore their strengths and available resources, establish goals, and work toward problem solving. By exploring strengths and available resources, clients are empowered to harness their internal assets to overcome challenges. This positive reinforcement can enhance self-esteem and motivation for change. Collaboratively establishing goals allows clients to have a sense of direction and purpose in therapy. The goals also serve as benchmarks for progress and provide a framework for problem-solving and decision-making. Again, rather than solely focusing on the problems at hand, clients develop tools and strategies to effectively navigate challenges. This proactive approach fosters resilience and empowers clients to become active participants in their healing process. In sum drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, and solution focused brief therapy, interventions can be tailored to suit the diverse needs of clients. I look forward to helping my clients facilitate positive change through a collaborative and personalized therapeutic process.
