Hey there, I'm Sareet. Do fear and worry prevent you from living the life you want? Are you afraid to try new things or go to new places? Are you always imagining the worst-case scenario? I use a holistic approach, integrating mind, body and spirit to help you reconnect with yourself and heal. I'm trained in mindfulness, yoga, EMDR, NLP, hypnosis, and motivational enhancement. I will use all of the tools in my toolkit to make the most efficient use of our time together. Whatever brings you here, I know this first step can feel scary. I'm here to help. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, I will take plenty of time to assess the primary issues you've been dealing with to establish a clear picture of how I can best help you. Together, we'll work on building your personal toolkit to better manage those symptoms, and eventually eliminate them. I incorporate your interests and make every effort to tailor my techniques to your needs.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I do other work besides EMDR, but I do have an extensive background in trauma and find this evidence-based practice works well, even virtually. The mind-body and sensory focus of EMDR informs my other work as well.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

My background in mindfulness as well as as a yoga teacher for many years informs my work in helping people to connect to their senses in the present moment and learn not to attach to anxious/negative thoughts

Motivational Interviewing

This approach is especially useful in helping us to understand our readiness to change behavior, if applicable, what roadblocks might be standing in the way, and how to work through those

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP and EMDR have some similarities, but I find NLP work to be helpful across a broad range of issues. The focus is to help us change our sensory experience of things (often memories, phobias, etc.) which will then help us to change our emotional responses
